Officers went to South Grand Boulevard and Meramec Street for a shooting call just before 11:30 p.m. Saturday. They found a critically injured man in the passenger seat of a silver Toyota sedan. The man was pronounced dead at a hospital shortly after the shooting, police said. His girlfriend was with him but uninjured, police said. She told police that Aparicio was shot in the 3600 block of Dunnica Avenue; they drove to the area of South Grand and Meramec, a half-mile away, where police were notified.
