Bryola Carter

St. Louis County police say Bryola Carter, 25, was shot at about 5 p.m. inside a home in the 10000 block of Cloverdale Drive. Surveillance video shows Giveyonn Carter enter a bathroom with a gun and then shoot through the bathroom's door, investigators wrote in court documents. Bryola Carter was hit in the arm and torso, police said. She died at a hospital. A child was with Bryola Carter when she was struck by gunfire, police said. Police said the two women were related. Giveyonn Carter, 27, was charged Thursday with second-degree murder, armed criminal action and endangering the welfare of a child. She was arrested at the time of the shooting, police said, and she was booked into jail Friday morning on a $500,000 cash-only bond, according to online records.
