Byron Jones

A man was shot to death at a McDonald's restaurant north of downtown on Wednesday night. Byron Jones, 44, was shot in the head at the restaurant, at 1119 North Tucker Boulevard. Police were called to the shooting about 9:15 p.m. Wednesday. The victim died at the scene. Police did not give an address for Jones. Police released no additional details Thursday, including whether the victim was a customer or employee. The area is in the city's Carr Square neighborhood.
