Damarius Bolden

The dead were identified as Damarius Bolden, 23, and Tajean Johnson, 24. Police found out about the shootings through a SpotSpotter activation alert, a set of microphones designed to pinpoint where a shot is fired. The alert came about 10:25 p.m. Wednesday in the 12400 block of Horizon Village Drive. The men were found shot in a vehicle. One died at the scene; the other at a hospital. Bolden lived in the 7200 block of Teal Avenue. Johnson lived in the 3200 block of Greenway Chase Drive. Horizon Village Drive is east of Bellefontaine Road, in unincorporated St. Louis County.
