Darrean Proudie

A man on Saturday was shot and killed in Ferguson near Randolph Street and Shirley Avenue. Ferguson police said they were called there by a ShotSpotter activation at about 8:15 p.m. While canvassing, officers found 19-year-old Darrean Proudie. He had been shot multiple times and was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. Proudie lived in Hazelwood, police said. The ShotSpotter gunshot detection system uses microphones to pinpoint gunfire throughout the region.
