Daunte Martin

Daunte Martin, 22, was shot at a Phillips 66 gas station. He died at a hospital. Gabriel Glenn Roy, 25, has been charged with second-degree murder in the case. Bridgeton police Chief Mark Mossotti said Roy and Martin knew each other. According to charging documents, the two men were arguing outside of the gas station. When Roy felt that Martin was moving closer to him, he shot him three times in the chest, police said. Police did not say what they were arguing about, but they did say Roy admitted to shooting Martin.
