DreShawn Mathis

A 19-year-old man who died from gunshot wounds Saturday has been identified by the St. Louis medical examiner’s office as DreShawn Mathis. Tara Rick, a spokesperson for the medical examiner, said Mathis was pronounced dead at Barnes-Jewish Hospital. Mathis was shot in the 500 block of North 38th Street, according to Belleville police.
