Jeremey Bernard Eden

At around 1:30 a.m., a police officer was at a stoplight at the intersection of St. Louis Avenue and North Kingshighway in the city's Kingsway East neighborhood. A man stumbled into the street and collapsed, and the officer saw a gunshot wound to the man's neck. The man who died was Jeremey Bernard Eden, 33, of the 1200 block of Aubert, police said. Emergency medical responders took the man to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead. His name wasn't immediately released. Police connected the shooting to a home in the 4900 block of St. Louis Avenue.
