ST. CHARLES — A 17-year-old boy was in police custody Thursday in the stabbing death of a man in St. Charles, police said. St. Charles police Lt. Daniel Gibbons identified the victim as 47-year-old Joshua Ellison. Ellison, of St. Charles, was stabbed about 2 a.m. Thursday in the 1500 block of Rutgers Drive. He drove away from that scene and was found dead in the car about a half-mile away, in the 1700 block of Sherman Drive. Ellison was an acquaintance of the boy's mother, Gibbons said. Police arrested the boy, who is being held at the St. Charles Juvenile Justice Center.
