Kenneth Anderson-Lane

A St. Louis man faces murder charges after police say he fatally stabbed a co-worker at an Amazon warehouse in Berkeley. Patrick Thrower was held without bond Tuesday in the St. Louis County jail on charges of first-degree murder and armed criminal action. Thrower, 41, is accused of killing co-worker Kenneth Anderson-Lane. Anderson-Lane was stabbed Sunday at the Amazon facility at 8850 Springdale Avenue in Berkeley. He died at Barnes-Jewish Hospital of a single stab wound to his heart, police said. Berkeley police Major Steve Runge said in court records that officers were called to the warehouse, where a witness pointed out the knife and said Thrower was the man who stabbed Anderson-Lane. Runge said Thrower admitted having the knife, and video footage showed Thrower holding the knife just before confronting Anderson-Lane outside the main entrance to the warehouse. Police did not provide a motive for the stabbing. Thrower lives in the 2000 block of John Avenue in St. Louis. Anderson-Lane lived in the 4300 block of Margaretta Avenue in St. Louis.
