A man who forced his way into a home here and attacked a man and woman was stabbed and killed with his own knife, police said. The man and woman were also injured, police said. Police said the intruder, Michael Johnson Jr., 53, was found dead in a back yard of a home in the 5100 block of Maple Avenue in the city's Academy neighborhood. About 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, he had forced his way into the home and attacked a man and woman with a knife, police said. The man being attacked was able to gain control of the knife, police said. He then stabbed the intruder. The injured man and woman were stable and being treated at a hospital, police said. Authorities have not released the name of the dead man.
