Homicide detectives are investigating after a shooting Saturday afternoon in the Vandeventer neighborhood, police said. Officers responded to a report of a shooting around 2:30 p.m. in the 4200 block of Enright Avenue, where they found a man with gunshot wounds to his pelvis and leg. Paramedics pronounced the man, believed to be in his 50s, dead at the scene.
