Police officers received calls about a shooting in the 2800 block of Cherokee about 5:35 p.m. They found a 26-year-old shot; he was pronounced dead at a hospital. Officers said that the man was driving when he sideswiped a car; the owner of that car then shot him. The suspect, a 27-year-old man, was arrested at the scene.
