Percy Bowman

Percy Bowman, 44, was shot and killed at a cookout. Turley Smith, 31, is charged with murder. Smith showed up at the cookout Bowman was at, and when Bowman asked why Smith was there, the two men got into a quarrel, police said. According to police, as the men argued, Smith grabbed Bowman's gun and shot him. Police also said that once Bowman was on the ground defenseless, Smith shot him again.
