A woman found shot in her vehicle last weekend in the Carr Square neighborhood has died at a hospital, police said Tuesday. Raykel Thompson, 25, was shot early Saturday near her home in the 1600 block of Biddle Street. St. Louis police found Thompson in the driver's seat of a vehicle that was resting against a fire hydrant. Officers went to the scene after getting an alert from the ShotSpotter gunshot detection system about 1 a.m. Saturday. Thompson, who lived in the 1600 block of Biddle Street, was taken to a hospital in critical condition. She died Monday.
