Sheila Mills, 64, answered the door and Darryl Greenlee, 61, forced his way into the home, probable cause statements said. About the same time, the statement said, Kevin Lenier Shelton, 57, walked across the home's front yard and then drove away in the victim's vehicle. Police said Shelton returned to the home a short time later and soon after that, Greenlee left the home. The probable cause statements and court documents don't say which man fired the fatal shot. In the afternoon, the statement said, Northwoods police went to the home after the victim's daughter asked police to check on her. Officers found the victim's body on the floor with a gunshot wound and her hands bound behind her back, the statement said. Greenlee and Shelton were both charged with first-degree murder, armed criminal action, robbery and burglary.
