William Turner Jr.

St. Louis police said William Turner Jr., 43, of St. Louis, was shot about 6:30 p.m. in the 4700 block of South Spring Avenue. He died at a hospital. The suspect gunman stayed at the shooting scene and cooperated with detectives, police said. He was released, pending the investigation. Authorities have not released a possible motive for the shooting.
