Alonzo McDaniel

Evelyn McDaniel, 65, faces charges of second-degree murder and armed criminal action. She was being held in custody without bail, according to court records. Authorities say McDaniel stabbed her husband, Alonzo McDaniel, 65, at about 10:15 p.m. Saturday in the 3900 block of East Lexington Avenue in The Greater Ville neighborhood. McDaniel was found just inside a home with a stab wound to his chest. He was pronounced dead at a hospital, St. Louis police said.
