Barbie Whiteside

Officers said a man stabbed and killed a woman in his apartment 4300 block of Forest Park Avenue. Police found Barbie Whiteside, 38, of Glasgow Village, with multiple stab wounds in the apartment. She was declared dead at the scene. They also found a switchblade and a hammer with blood, according to court documents. The address is listed as an independent senior apartment building. Elmer Shields is accused of first-degree murder and armed criminal action.
