Julius Rogers

The man killed in a double shooting in the city's Gate District neighborhood was Julius Rogers, 36, of the 4400 block of Anderson Avenue, police said. The incident took place about 6:30 p.m. in the 2600 block of Caroline Street. The other person shot, a 42-year-old man, was in critical condition the next day at a hospital, police said.
