Justin Holmes

Darius Nelson, 19, went to the 5900 block of Plymouth Avenue on Saturday, just west of North Skinker Parkway, with two other people to rob Justin Holmes, 18, of a bag, charges say. When Nelson tried to take the bag, Holmes pulled away. Nelson then pulled out a gun and shot him, charges say. Nelson and the two others left the scene with the bag. Nelson is charged with first-degree murder, two counts of armed criminal action and robbery.
