A 24-year-old man died after being shot outside a home in the 7000 block of Lakeshore Drive in Cedar Hill. His 51-year-old father was also shot and injured. Sammy Gordon worked with his father, who owns a roofing company. "When he wasn't working," a brother said, "all he wanted to do was ride his motorcycle." Christopher Serrano, of Cedar Hill, was charged with first-degree murder, first-degree assault and two counts of armed criminal action. A Facebook post on July 22 under Serrano's name complained about neighbors on Lakeshore Drive in his subdivision. He claimed they were a motorcycle gang trafficking drugs who injured his dogs and intimidated him as he drove by. The meandering post refers to Dante and calls police "Village People wannabes" who ignored his complaints. He urged women to carry guns, machetes or knives if they go on that block. He also said one of their dogs bit one of his. The post also references "Clayco data centers," "the CIA, Mossad, MK Ultra money," and tells Jefferson County judges, prosecutors, "the entirety of the sheriff's department and all police departments," and elected officials to resign.
