Dressel's

Dressel’s Public House is a Central West End institution, but it hasn’t remained stagnant over its 35 years. Since taking over Dressel’s from his parents, Jon and Barbara Dressel, Benjamin Dressel has added a large new dining room to the cozy barroom, and the menu has expanded from classic pub fare to include a more contemporary aesthetic. Executive chef Derek Roe handles both approaches with aplomb, from such old-school classics as the chips with rarebit and fish and chips to seasonally changing beef, pork and seafood dishes. The burger and Porchetta Louie sandwich remain can’t-miss choices.
