You can find Clementine’s Naughty & Nice Creamery’s butterfat-rich small-batch ice cream at several area restaurants, but to appreciate the full range of owner Tamara Keefe’s talents, you must visit Clementine’s tiny Lafayette Square scoop shop. Here you’ll find Keefe’s versions of classic flavors (Madagascar vanilla, strawberry with balsamic and white pepper, “Kickass” chocolate), and you’ll also discover creations destined to become classics, like best-seller Gooey Butter Cake (made with actual gooey butter cake from Park Avenue Coffee) and Chocolate Cabernet, one of a handful of alcohol-spiked, adults-only flavors.
