Pint Size Bakery

Pint Size Bakery relocated in late April of 2016. The new storefront roughly doubles the size of the original — as one wag tweeted at me, it should change its name to Quart Size — and offers actual tables at which customers can sit. More importantly, founder Christy Augustin, co-owner and fellow pastry chef Nancy Boehm and their team now possess a kitchen that isn’t a closet. That means more of the cookies, muffins, savory scones and other treats (including those coveted Saturday-only salted-caramel croissants) that St. Louisans with even the smallest sweet tooth have come to crave.

Hours: 7 a.m.-4 p.m. Tuesday-Friday, 8 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday (closed Sunday-Monday)

Opened: 2012

Must order: Oatmeal cream pie ($1.95)
