Founded in 1989, Brighton is a St. Louis based, full-service marketing and creative agency, owned and operated by Tina VonderHaar. Our diverse and deeply experienced team combines the best part of a consulting firm — strategic thinking — and the best part of an ad agency — inspired creative — to help our clients think differently about their brands and how to engage their customers. We deploy a broad set of skills along with deep knowledge of our clients’ businesses to approach every challenge from multiple perspectives—from strategy to creative to analytics. We focus our skills in health care, agriculture, and consumer products and services and we take pride in forging deep relationships with our clients and helping them build lasting relationships with their customers and consumers.
Welcome to Brightonia. Brighton is more than a place or even an agency. Brighton is made up of an amazing group of people. A team with diverse backgrounds, unique talents and amazing ideas. That’s why we want to foster an atmosphere of collaboration and creativity. A place where each of us feels at home. A place we call Brightonia. Part of creating a culture of collaborative creativity is providing ways outside of the everyday work to engage with each other and become a cohesive team. Corporations may have retreats and life coaches may have trust falls, but Brightonians have each other and a series of events, large and small, where we gather to enjoy good food and friendship. Our events are conceived and planned by a group of volunteers known as the Brighton Ambassadors. This group develops new idea for each year while shepherding the agency’s perennial favorite events. Each year is anchored by a few annual events: a bi-annual All-Agency Meeting and trip to a local winery in the spring; Abbreviated Fridays and monthly ice cream truck visits throughout the summer. Our second bi-annual All Agency Meeting in the fall followed by Zuffalig, our annual employee and client appreciation party. Zufallig is the German word for random and each year features a new random theme. Past years have included a murder mystery and a county fair complete with pig races and carnival games in tents on our large outdoor patio. In the winter we have our annual Holiday Party including a workspace decorating contest with a traveling trophy made from a “Christmas Story” leg lamp nightlight, an adopted family gift giving initiative, and tenure awards for major milestones In addition to these major annual events the Ambassador team organize a number of other recurring events and gatherings including: Fat Tuesday with King Cakes; Pi Day with pizza and dessert; March Madness with Buffalo Wild Wings; Mini Masters Tournament, a mini-golf tournament during the Masters Tournament on a creative putt-putt course.
