Benefits

The Donald Danforth Plant Science Center offers a well-rounded benefit offering to our employees. In addition to medical benefits, we offer a rich retirement program which includes an employer contribution regardless if our employees choose to participate. We encourage work-life balance by offering generous paid time off, educational assistance for employees completing degrees and onsite wellness facility and wellness program. One unique benefit at the Danforth Center is our daily Tea Time. Everyday (except Wednesday) at 3 p.m., employees are encouraged to stop in our lounge for tea, coffee, lemonade and cookies. This time is intended for employees to mingle to build community and find opportunities to collaborate. Each Wednesday, the Center offers a weekly scientific seminar that all employees are invited to attend. We have a cafe in the Center and encourage employees to gather during their lunch hour dine to build community and collaboration.
