New state data measuring the performance of school districts across Missouri shows the median score statewide, 80.1%, was slightly higher than the prior year. Fort Zumwalt and the Soulard School's scores rose enough in 2025 to join Brentwood and Maplewood-Richmond Heights in the highest "with distinction" range. Two local charter schools, Atlas Public Schools and St. Louis Voices Academy, had 2025 scores that fell in the lowest range.
