LaRico Martin

Police say LaRico Martin, 32, was shot on Dec. 26, 2020, in the 200 block of North Main Street in St. Charles by Marcell Foster, 26, of Bel-Ridge. Passersby alerted police to a disturbance behind Lloyd & Harry's Bar and Grill, charging documents say, and officers saw Foster fire a black pistol several times at Martin. Police initially charged Foster with assault, then upgraded the charges to second-degree murder after Martin died on Jan. 2.
