Darnell Ashford

Darnell Ashford, 29, was fatally shot in the back of the head during a domestic dispute at a residence in unincorporated St. Louis County near the intersection of Hanley and I-70. Prosecutors charged Jaylon Dennis, 20, with murder and armed criminal action. Authorities said Dennis was arguing with Ashford about Ashford’s alleged infidelity at her residence on the 8800 block of Dragonwyck Drive, court records show. Ashford lived in the 4000 block of Finney Avenue. Authorities say she fatally shot Ashford in the back of the head during their dispute.
