Dewight Price

A cab driver was found dead Sunday morning on the campus of Hazelwood Central High School. Police said three teens were riding in Dewight Price's cab Sunday when the three pulled guns and threatened to rob Price in the Hazelwood Central High School parking lot at 15875 New Halls Ferry Road. Police said the teens then shot Price around 6:40 a.m., killing him. The three have been charged in Price's death. Tywon Harris, 19, Coron Dees, 19, and Jeremiah Allen, 18, are facing state charges of second-degree murder and armed criminal action. Dees is charged with first-degree robbery. Harris, Dees and Allen also face federal charges of robbery and aiding and abetting a murder. Allen is also charged with being an accessory after the fact Another teen, Trishawn Jones, 18, was indicted for robbery and aiding and abetting a murder. Those charges are in federal court. Jones was 17 at the time of the shooting; prosecutors got a court order to indict him as an adult.
