Lamantris Sample

Lamantris Sample, 18, was fatally shot Monday afternoon at a Mobile gas station near the intersection of Kingshighway Boulevard and St. Louis Avenue in the Kingsway East neighborhood. Police said they responded to the area about 3:30 p.m. and found Sample unresponsive. He had been shot in the back. Paramedics transported him to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
