Freddie Tribbitt

A man was found dead in a house after a fire broke out Tuesday evening. The fire erupted around 8:50 p.m. in the 10500 block of Baron Drive in the Castle Point area, police said. Firefighters extinguished the fire and found the man dead inside the home. Thurman Lowe is accused of shooting and killing Freddie Tribbitt, 46, at Tribbitt's home. Lowe was charged with first-degree murder, armed criminal action, unlawful possession of a firearm, second-degree arson and evidence tampering.
