Katie's Pizza & Pasta Osteria

Katie Collier is poised for a big 2017. A second location of Katie’s Pizza & Pasta is slated to open in Town and Country, and she and her husband, Ted Collier, will soon launch the meal-delivery service Vero Pasto (think a pasta-centric Blue Apron). If this expansion of the Katie’s brand isn’t literally exponential, it sure does feel that way sometimes. The original Rock Hill location debuted in 2013, but it came into its own over the last two years as one of St. Louis’ premier spots for pasta and wood-fired pizza. To understand what sets the latter apart from the competition, consider the pie with pepperoni from Salume Beddu. This alone would make for a great pizza, but Katie’s takes that extra step by adding preserved lemon and a drizzle of buckwheat honey.
