Desi D. Moore Sr.

Desi D. Moore Sr., 31, of East St. Louis was fatally shot in the 5900 block of Mitchell Lane and pronounced dead at Touchette Regional Hospital early Tuesday, according to St. Clair County Coroner Calvin Dye Sr. St. Clair County State’s Attorney Jim Gomric’s office on Thursday charged Terry T. Pittman Jr., 23, with first-degree murder in the death. Cahokia Heights Police Chief Thomas Trice said detectives identified a suspect within an hour of investigating. He said investigators believe Pittman and Moore knew each other and that the shooting followed an argument.
