Kenneth Queen

A resident called 911 around 9 p.m. Thursday after one victim showed up at a home in the 1100 block of Morris Drive, bleeding and asking for help. From there, police followed a blood trail through backyards and a cluster of trees. It led them to a home on Saline Lane. There, they found a second male victim who had been shot. Both victims died at a hospital, police said. The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office is calling the case a double homicide. The men are 60-year-old Kenneth Queen and 45-year-old Timothy Brda Jr., both of the Fenton area. Police haven't said if they have a suspect. Grant Bissell, a sheriff's department spokesman, said that case "is still very much under investigation and detectives are still looking into all the circumstances." "But we do not believe there is a threat to the public," Bissell added. Morris Drive is a dead-end road southwest of Fenton, in the Southwest Terrace subdivision.
